12:54 pm - something I thought I would actually write something now since I have just been posting silly quiz results, but oh what to post. I don't have anything profound or motivating or even too interesting to say.
My parents are going to Europe in June and I am jealous as hell! OK, I am glad they are going and all that. My mom is the only person in my immediate family who hasn't been. My dad lived in England for a year for school stuff a long time ago. My brother and I both went when we were in jr. high and I went again about 5 years ago. I shouldn't be jealous, but I still am. I guess until now I didn't realize that I have been more times than any of the other members of my family, but I want to live there at some point. Not forever, but just for a couple of years maybe. I feel like I need to live other places to truly experience life to its fullest. I would like to live in India for a while but that seems much scarier than Europe. I just love Indian culture though. My parents are going to 12 cities in 4 countries in a month. That sounds crazy to me! That means about 2.5 days per city and that isn't enough to really see everything that I am sure they want to see. I guess they aren't planning on going back anytime though, so that will just have to do. They are getting older, so they need to do it while they still can.
Why is it that so many places seem like better places to live than where I am right now? Don't get me wrong. I love Austin. I just want to see everywhere! Well not everywhere. I wouldn't want to live in Antarctica or Finland or anywhere too cold. This whole working thing really puts a damper on my travel time though. But the whole travel thing really puts a damper on my money thing. I guess I have to do both to balance it all out.
On a different note. I have been thinking about posting my dreams on here. I have some crazy ass dreams and they always seem very real when I am having them. Like the other day I had one where I was walking with my parents and my brother at some kind of amusement park that had a river going through it and we were on a path next to the river and the grass just kept getting taller and taller the further we went. Then it was so tall on the path and the river that my dad kind of popped down into the river bed. We only had a second to be really surprised and worried when he just popped right back out. Now in my dream that would have been at least a 10 ft fall and you would think, in real world logic, that there would be water down there which would prevent him from getting any ground to use to pop back up, but this made perfect sense in dream land. That is all I remember about the dream now, but I know there was more before that happened. I have written down some dreams, but only on paper. Maybe I will put them up here sometime. 10:30 am - My Soul
| You Are a Prophet Soul | You are a gentle soul, with good intentions toward everyone. Selfless and kind, you have great faith in people. Sometimes this faith can lead to disappoinment in the long run. No matter what, you deal with everything in a calm and balanced way.
You are a good interpreter, very sensitive, intuitive, caring, and gentle. Concerned about the world, you are good at predicting people's feelings. A seeker of wisdom, you are a life long learner looking for purpose and meaning. You are a great thinker and communicator, but not necessarily a doer.
Souls you are most compatible with: Bright Star Soul and Dreaming Soul |

10:08 am - Employee of the Month We had our usual monthly staff meeting this morning in which we go over some stuff that is going on in the firm and name birthdays and other normal stuff along with naming the person who was voted "employee of the month." Much to my surprise, I won this month. Well I tied with another guy and this was for December and January since we won't have a meeting in January. All this entitles me to is THE good parking place for a month. I chose January since it will be colder then. I don't get any cash or anything, but that was nice that people actually voted for me and I didn't even have a campaign or anything.
Yea me! Current Mood: happy
